Kennedy Carter Interview

A cute red head would just have to ask for me to do the following: 1) read an Ayn Rand book, 2) steal tithes from mother's church, 3) dope slap all the old ladies in the same house of worship, 4) use the words "artist" and "Madonna" in the same sentence, without an ounce of irony, and 5) renounce sweet potato pie for pumpkin.

At the end of October last year, Kennedy Carter (NSFW) became an exclusive at CockyBoys. The ginger snap has been making the site proud with his recent live show and steamy romp with Phenix Saint (NSFW). He, and co-exclusives, are getting us all prepared for release of the site's video The Name of the Game (NSFW).

A big thanks to Kennedy for taking the time to talk. Best of luck Mr. Carter. Please some notice if you are going ask me to wreck havoc in mom's church.

You've worked for a number of companies. What made you decide to sign up with CockyBoys?

I liked their image; it's young and edgy, and they are very attuned to the need for a strong online presence. They really understand how to turn a porn website into a cool brand.

What attracted you to the industry? Do you remember how you felt when you filmed your first scene?

I was attracted to porn because it worked really well around my hours when I started college. I remember really enjoying my first scene; it was a very small crew and the model I was working with was new too.  So it felt very natural.

How would you describe your sexuality? Gay? Straight? Bisexual? Something else? Has this definition changed since you've been in the industry?

I would say I'm 100 percent gay; I can get turned on by the thought of sex with a woman, but I could only fall in love with a man. I don't think porn would ever change that.

I asked Mason Star this question, so I have to ask you: most of your fans are intrigued with your relationships with the other CockyBoys exclusives. What's going on between you and Mason? How would you describe the chemistry you two seem to have?

Mason makes me laugh a lot. He can be very flamboyant, and I love that he doesn't give a shit what anyone thinks of him. He's very confident and cheeky, which I love. All of the CockyBoys exclusives get on really well, I love that I get to work with some of my best friends in the industry on a regular basis. We will shoot something together soon that you guys will love!

What have you learned about yourself since you've been a performer?

I'm not sure if porn has taught me anything deeply profound about myself. I would say I have learned more about myself from going to college, from traveling so much,  and from falling in love. However, it [porn] has definitely made me more in tune with my sexuality.

 What makes a comfortable set?

A comfortable set comes from happy people! When you are putting yourself in the vulnerable position of being naked, and having sex, in front of people it's important the crew are relaxed and happy so that the models don't get stressed out. Patience is king! Familiar faces always help: one of the reasons I love being an exclusive with CockyBoys, as compared when I was with Raging Stallion (NSFW), is that you get to regularly work with the same people. That automatically makes the atmosphere on set very comfortable.

What are the three things you would suggest to anyone who wanted to be porn performer?

Don't do it if it's going to break your parents' hearts - I'm lucky in that my mom is very cool with what I do, but most parents would not be. They are your parents for life, so don't do it if it is going to cause a problem. Think about what you would like to do afterwards - porn careers can be short so have an exit plan. And lastly, love your body! The hottest performers are always those who are confident in themselves.

Where are you originally from and where do you live now?

I'm from England, and normally I live in London during my semesters and New York City during my vacations. However, this year I will be living in Mexico City until the summer, finishing a year of my degree at a university there.

Favorite book? Movie?

My favorite book is Pedro Páramo by Juan Rulfo. My favorite movie? The Name of the Game of course!!

How much longer would you like to perform? Where do you want to be in five years?

I would love to stay working for CockyBoys for at least another year or two. In five years, I'll hopefully be living in New York City after finishing my masters.
